Muse:Man, I love this town! Sports, shopping, arts, nightlife -- Chicago has it all. And although I technically live in Indiana, I call it home... even when the Cubs are down 8 - 0 in the bottom of the 6th. Ugh.
I arrived back into O'Hare Airport with the little lady on Saturday, June 13th at about 4pm. From that moment on, to my surprise, we would be in a non-stop battle trying to divvy up our time home between friends and family -- some of whom were not so forgiving! The following four weeks entailed a lot.
From driving from my mom's house in Crown Point, Indiana...
down three and a half hours to Indianapolis...
back up four hours to Chicago...
over to my sister's house for several cookouts and often late-night visits...
and over to Black Oak in Hammond, Indiana to see how my dad's '56 Chevy was coming along.Managing time was hectic. Thankfully, many of my friends' schedules allowed for some late-night meet-ups at the local bars. Trust me, Shannon and I needed WAY more drinks than we were able to get down in the four times we went out.
We really never had a vacation, per se, but overall it was nice to be home and spend as much time with the ones we love for as long as we could. I'll be introducing some new photographs from Korea in the blog soon. Stay tuned.

Awesome pictures!
