News:After more than 90 submissions, the judges at the Seven Wonders of Illinois Photo Contest have chosen me as one of the seven finalists. Help me out and vote for Wrigley Field: The Heart of Chicago! All votes must be in by November 17 and the contest winner will be announced on November 18.
Let's show everyone how important Wrigley Field is! I know the Ricketts family will do right by the fans. Here are my thoughts on this photo, Wrigley, and being a Cubs fan in general:

Oh, to be a Cubs fan! It's one of the hardest and most emotional things to endure. The Cubs are more than just Lovable Losers, and Wrigley Field is more than just an old baseball stadium. When the Cubs are down 8 - 0 in the bottom of the 6th, support never dies. Fans don't leave early to beat the traffic. Rally caps go on! Cheering gets louder! Families and friends unite around their team in the best ballpark ever built. Wrigley Field: this is where the heart of Chicago is! ...well, unless you're a Sox fan.
