Super Mario Bros. Crossover - Best. Game. Ever.

So today's post does not have anything to do with the photography field, but it's something I just had to share with anyone reading here. I want to keep this post short because the game speaks for itself, but I hope you go to the full post for the (meager portion of) meat of the article and the link to the genius behind this.

So my buddy Jae on Facebook pointed me to the flash game above that blew my mind. Jay Pavlina at Exploding-Rabbit has put together an amazing version of Super Mario Bros. where you can choose to play as Metroid's Samus, Link, Mario, Mega Man, Castlevania's Simon, or Contra's Bill R. They each have unique abilities in the game -- especially after a Super Mushroom or a Fire Flower! And to top it off, you can choose a new character after each level.

If you grew up gaming in the 80s, then this one will surely hit home. I can't wait to see what else this guy comes up with and any updates / additions to this one!
